Street Portraits

Street Portraits: "These pictures were made at second line parade and sort of a jazz funeral for Lindy Boggs. She was a beloved New Orleans figure. I could go on about her for the length of this entire hub. But, that wouldn't serve you. So, check her out on Wiki. Needless to say, this parade was a big deal. So, I came out in the very hot New Orleans noon day sun. You know what they say about mad dogs and Englishmen... they are the only ones who stand out in 97 degree heat. I'm not English, so that leaves only one choice. And, the heat? The heat that was combined with about 90% humidity. And, you know what they say about that. "It's not the heat, it's the humidity." The combination can be brutal. Yesterday, it was."
