What is Exposure Bracketing? by Digital Photo Secrets: If there’s one point I keep mentioning over and over again, it’s this. Automatic mode doesn’t always give you the best images. It can get very close to what you want, but because it can’t gauge the light perfectly, you sometimes end up with images that are either too bright or too dark.

Remembering Photojournalists Documenting Violence in Syria – PictureCorrect: As unrest continues in Syria, there are a few courageous photographers risking their lives in an effort to report the truth to the world. Without journalists on the ground, the government would be free to manipulate the news and the facts about what is happening there. French photographer Remi Ochlik was killed this week along with another prominent journalist, Marie Colvin, in a barrage of gunfire and shelling by government forces in Homs, Syria.
